Biography

Jacobus in Families of old Fairfield, suggests he was the son of schoolteacher William Janes of New Haven, Connecticut.[1] Abel Janes married Mary Judd 4 Nov 1679 in Northampton, Massachusetts.[2][3]

He died 18 Dec 1718 in Lebanon, Connecticut.[4]
